Court positioning

Court positioning is a result of a player understanding their strengths, areas that can be exploited and their game style/patterns of play, along with considering the opponent’s strengths, areas that can be exploited and their game style/patterns of play. Positioning on the tennis court is all situation specific. The best tennis movers utilise their perception skills to maximise court position and allow them to optimise positioning based on factors that will allow them to play the game with the goal of taking time away from their opponent while increasing their own time based on optimising court position. This is accomplished by being clear on linking movements and strategy with positioning on the court.
